Why do I make art? Wherever I am, images constantly grab my attention, calling to be explored on canvas or paper. I paint or draw whatever attracts me in the moment. As a result, I don’t have a primary subject focus in my art. I paint the figure, still life, and landscapes. I explore the feminine archetype. I dabble in the non-objective. Each is a persuasive subject for me and I feel compelled to translate these attractions into paintings or drawings.
